The Cure Bowl will feature the unique amenities and entertainment associated with Orlando, Florida, the world’s vacation capital Since the turn of the century, people have made their way to this paradise to relax, recreate and revive their spirit.  Over recent years, Orlando has become a hub of activity in creating the next great life science clusters. In addition to its fun and world class theme park and entertainment venues, the region has welcomed world class names in research, healthcare and discovery to places like Lake Nona’s medical city. The Cure Bowl, located on the campus of the nation’s fastest growing university with the newest college of medicine is situated in the world’s best known playground, may someday be just down the road from where the cure for cancer is discovered.

The grand facility located in the heart of UCF's new north section of campus is still the nation's newest college football venue, Bright House Networks Stadium. Home for the UCF Knights football program, Bright House Networks Stadium sprawls over 25 acres, seats 45,301 and serves as the crown jewel of the schools' burgeoning Athletics Village.

Bright House Networks Stadium is part of a $60 million project that included financing costs, reserve requirements, infrastructure, roads, parking and practice fields for football, soccer and baseball. Designs were provided by Kansas City, Mo.-based 360 Architecture, while the construction was managed by Wharton-Smith, Inc. of Sanford, Fla. The stadium seating was erected by Dant Clayton of Louisville, Ky.
