 20 Foot AutoNation Cure Bowl Quilt will be presented at half-time on field at the AutoNation Cure Bowl

 

Associates at America’s largest automotive retailer have created a quilt made of up 200 individual squares; each one honoring someone touched by cancer.

 

WHO:             15 Breast Cancer Survivors, Marc Cannon, AutoNation’s Executive Vice President, Cheryl Miller, AutoNation’s Chief Financial Officer, Karen Gelfer, AutoNation Associate & Breast Cancer Survivor, Alan Gooch, Executive Director, Orlando Sports Foundation.

 

WHAT:           More than 200 AutoNation Associates each contributed a 12-inch fabric square decorated to honor a loved one touched by cancer.   Each square has been incorporated into a 20-foot quilt, that will be carried onto the field by several breast cancer survivors during half time of the AutoNation Cure Bowl.

 

Now in its third year, the AutoNation Cure Bowl l has raised a collective 3.3 million dollars, since 2015

Recently AutoNation was named one of America’s top 100 Corporate Citizens by Forbes Magazine and Just Capital due to its commitments to community well-being and its fight against cancer.
