<strong>ORLANDO, Fla. (OrlandoSportsFoundation.com) –</strong> The Orlando Sports Foundation is hosting a Cards for a Cure event on Aug. 3 at Burger U – UCF. The poker tournament is being held to raise funds for cancer research.
Event check in is slated to begin at 6 p.m. on Sept. 15. The poker tournament will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. A portion of proceeds from all orders placed at Burger U during the event will benefit the Orlando Sports Foundation.

The cost to enter the poker tournament is $100. Players can buy themselves back into the tournament for $50. The grand prize is a three-day, two-night hotel stay in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The <a href=”https://orlandosportsfoundation.com/”>Orlando Sports Foundation</a> is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to raising funding and awareness for cancer research. Our mission is to bring teams together to find a cure for cancer.
The signature event put on by the <a href=”https://orlandosportsfoundation.com/”>Orlando Sports Foundation</a> is the <a href=”https://curebowl.com/”>Cure Bowl</a>. The college football bowl game is played on the third Saturday each December at Orlando City Stadium. It has been used as a platform to raise funds for cancer research. Through four years, over $3.6 million has been raised for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Those funds have been distributed internationally, which includes $1.1 million to local researcher <a href=”https://curebowl.com/dr-annette-khaled/”>Dr. Annette Khaled at the UCF College of Medicine</a>.
