Read over the following Media Credentials policies and criteria before completing the Media Credential Request Form below. Credentials for the 2017 AutoNation Cure Bowl will be granted to reporters and photographers who are ON ASSIGNMENT and covering events for legitimate publications, websites/blogs and/or radio and television stations. Please note we do not provide credentials to broadcast on-air personalities unless there is a prior arranged broadcast scheduled on-site at the event.
Approval of Media Credentials is at the sole discretion of The Orlando Sports Foundation, Inc. Failure to follow the request procedures may result in denial of your request.
Media & Credential Contact, Polices, and Requests
Participating schools are asked to make their players and coaches available to the media throughout bowl week. Interview availability and practice schedules for players and coaches will be supplied by each school’s media relations department. Orlando Sports Foundation (OSF) will do its best to provide updated practice information, but please utilize each school’s media contacts as your definitive source for this information.
POST GAME INTERVIEWS
Each team will receive a 10-minute cooling off period. Following the 10-minute cooling off period, the head coach and at least one player from the runner-up team will be made available in the Media Interview Room (located in the south end of the stadium). After the runner-up team’s appearance, the winning head coach and at least two (2) players will be available. One (1) of the players will be the game’s Most Valuable Player. No interviews are permitted on the field after the game, with the exception of the CBS Sports Network broadcast and live radio with contracted broadcast rights. Each school’s media relations director should notify Nate Blythe of their school’s post-game interview policy as it pertains to locker rooms. If a team’s locker room is not open for post-game interviews, school and bowl officials will work to determine the best location for breakout interviews.
