ORLANDO, Fla., February 1, 2011- Florida Hospital Cancer Institute recently received a generous $5,000 donation from the Orlando Sports Foundation (OSF) made possible through a portion of the proceeds from the organization’s Cure Bowling event. Cure Bowling is held annually in October in order to raise funding and awareness for the fight to find a cure for breast cancer.
“We are so happy to be receiving such a generous donation from the Orlando Sports Foundation,” said Dr. David Decker, medical director of the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute. “As a leader in breast cancer research, this donation is important as we continue to advance treatment and research to provide quality care for our patients.”
